“I love to cook and entertain, design new menus, and pair food with wine.” Ginger Power is a formally trained chef with many years experience. She is a respected culinary professional, with a well tuned sense of taste.
Her culinary experience is ongoing with winters spent at Deer Valley Resort, in Park City, UT. Ginger assists seasonally at the award winning Mariposa restaurant, and the European style Fireside Dining at Empire Lodge.
In 1996, Ginger started Orchard House in Hood River, Oregon. Through Orchard House she contributes her talent and philosophy to catering special events in the Columbia Gorge.
Our staff of attentive planners, gracious servers, and talented chefs are here to produce well organized events, with delicious food, and lovely presentation.
Each menu is designed according to what’s coming from the garden. We are dedicated to maintaining relationships with local farmers and purveyors in order to get the highest quality components for each event.
We are known for our on site cooking and for food of excellent quality and integrity.
